Roy inaugurates EDUSAT
Shillong, Sep 25 (UNI) The Meghalaya government is making all efforts to provide quality education to students, Chief Minister Donkupar Roy said.
Inaugurating the EDUSAT unit at a school to mark Golden Jubilee Celebration at Mairang, Dr Roy said with the aim to improve and provide quality education,the MPA government is examining the proposed education policy thoroughly.
The state is an educational hub of the North East and the government was amaking efforts to improve the existing infrastructure to maintain the status in education selctor, he said.
He also said that the government was inviting renowned educational institutions to set up institutes in the state and also medical, engineering institutes and other universities were welcome to set up their branches in the state.
Dr Roy also lauded the school managing committee for their hard work and for achieving the golden jubilee milestone and hoped that the authorities would continue to work hard so that they can achieve more in future.
