Gold, Silver open firm on Sep 25
Mumbai, Sep 25: Both the precious metals opened high on Wednesday, Sep 25 with Silver rising by Rs 45 per kg and gold by Rs 110 per ten gm on good demand from ornament makers, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said. In international market also precious metals increased, as gold was recorded at USD 891.00/891.50 per ounce (USD 885.00/885.50) and silver at USD 13.48/13.49 an ounce (USD 13.00/13.25), a market report from Singapore said.
Following were the opening domestic spot rates: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade: Rs 20,935 Gold (per 10 gm): 99.5 purity standard mint: Rs 13,125 99.9 purity pure gold: Rs 13,180.
