Organisations hold demonstration in view of cabinet meeting

Gulbarga, Sep 25 (UNI) As many as 12 organisations, including Left parties, held demonstrations here today on the eve of a cabinet meeting tomorrow.

They held demonstrations in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office and submitted a memorandum.

The CPI(M) and CPI protested against the country's Nuclear Deal with the US. They also demanded immediate announcement of a special package to the backward Hyderabad-Karnataka region.

The CPI(M), led by Party District Secretary Bhimasetty Hemballi, took out a procession to the DC office.

The CPI also staged a rally at the DC office demanding a special package for the Hyderabad-Karnataka region and constitute a special task force to monitor the progress of the development.
