New born abandoned near petrol bunk
Kancheepuram, Sep 25 (UNI) A new-born baby was found abandoned near a petrol bunk here last night.
Police said the baby with umbilical cord and blood on its body was packed in plastic cover and abandoned at the petrol bunk near the Taluk office.
One of the employees noticed the baby and informed the police who rushed to the spot and admitted it to the government hospital here.
After treatment, it will be shifted to the Government Children Welfare Centre.
