Municipality employees wear black badge to press demands

Puducherry, Sep 25 (UNI) Employees of the Ozhukarai municipality today attended work by sporting black badges to press their 12-point charter of demands.

They were demanding, among other things, immediate implementation of the sixth pay commission recommendations to the employees of municiplaities and commune panchayats, assured carreer progression scheme without delay and regularisation of the daily-rated employees.
