Mettur water level 86.95 ft

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 25 (UNI) The level in the Stanley reservoir at Mettur across river Cauvery stood at 86.95 feet this morning, against the full capacity of 120 feet.

The inflow into the reservoir was 6,320 cusecs and the discharge was 20,020 cusecs, PWD source said.

From the Grand Anaicut 3,231 cusecs of water was released through river Cauvery 8,509 cusecs through Vannar, 3,325 cusecs through Grand Anaicut Canal and 1,525 cusecs through Coleroon for irrigation.
