L K Advani visits Somnath, reiterates Ram temple pledge

Rajkot, Sep 25 (UNI) Senior BJP leader L K Advani today reiterated his pledge to build the Ram temple at Ayodhya and said his struggle would continue till the goal was accomplished.

Mr Advani arrived in Somnath, a coastal town in Junagadh, this morning to seek blessings of Lord Somnath to mark the 18th anniversary of his maiden Rath Yatra to Ayodhya in 1990.

The BJP leader, who has been visiting the temple for the last 18 years on this day, performed ''puja'' for around 45 minutes.

Earlier, Mr Advani, accompanied by Vijay Rupani, MP, was received at Somnath by former union minister Bhavnaben Chikhaliya, party district unit president Thakharshibhai Javia and other local leaders.
