KSHRC team in Mangalore
Mangalore, Sep 25 (UNI) Karnataka State Human Rights Commission (KSHRC) team headed by its Chairman S R Nayak today arrived here on a three-day visit to Mangalore and Udupi.
Mr Nayak was accompanied by Commission Members R H Reddy, B Parthasarathy, Bipin Gopalakrishna and Jithendranath.
The team, which was now visiting various prayer halls damaged in the attacks on September 14, would receive petitions from the public in the evening.
The team would visit Udupi tomorrow and hold detailed discussions with top officials from both the Police and Revenue Departments on Saturday.
On their arrival, the team visited prayer halls at Kodikal, Milagris and other places in the city and proposed to visit few more churches.
