Joshi resurrects Ram temple issue
Bhopal, Sep 25 (UNI) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Murli Manohar Joshi today again raised the Ram temple issue ahead of general elections scheduled next year.
''The issue relates directly to the country's pride and there should be a temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya,'' he said while addressing a BJP rally here.
When he asked the mammoth gathering whether the shrine should be constructed at Ayodhya, the crowd roared in the affirmative.
The former Human Resource Development minister alleged that the Centre's United Progressive Alliance regime was toying with the majority's sentiments by questioning Lord Ram's existence.
Dr Joshi urged the people to ready themselves to build the temple after the BJP came to power.
