India Post to induct two more aircraft
Tirupati, Sep 25 (UNI) To meet the competition from private courier services, India Post is contemplating inducting two more Boeing Aircrafts shortly to speed up the speed post services in the country.
Talking to newspersons here today Tirupati Division RMS Superintendent Mr P Ramchandraiah said one aircraft which carries speed post, parcels and others, had already been pressed into service dedicated to seven North-East states. Two more Boeing services are to be launched shortly to cover other major cities, including Hyderabad.
The new postal air service will benefit all agencies and sectors associated with mail, express, parcels and logistics, he added.
