I was not greedy for KPCC chief's post: Siddramaiah
Mysore, Sep 25 (UNI) Former Deputy Chief Minister who was today denied the KPCC President's post by the high command for which he was a strong candidate, said he was not unhappy over the nomination of Mr R V Deshpande for the post.
Reacting to the appointment of the leader from Uttara Kannada, Mr Siddaramaiah claimed that he was not an aspirant for the post.
"There is no division in the party. I will continue in Congress," he said.
Soon after the news of appointment of Mr Deshpande as President and D K Shivakumar as Working President came out, a large number of supporters of the leader from this district went to his residence and expressed their dissapointment.
However there was no visible protest by his supporters.
