GRP jawan injured in Maoist attack in Bokaro
Bokaro, Sep 25 (UNI) A General Railway Police (GRP) jawan was injured when a group of suspected banned CPI (Maoists) threw bombs on the police team at Chandrapura railway station in this district late last night.
Police said the team was on regular patrolling at the time of the incident which left Mukesh Kumar injured.
He was admitted to a nearby hospital, police said.
The ultras also pasted posters in and around the railway station threatening police to avoid operation against them.
In 2003, the ultras had looted a huge cache of arms, including 23 rifles and few pistols, from the security forces posted at the railway station.
