Governance would be taken to people: Yeddyurappa
Mysore, Sep 25 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said governance would be taken to Taluk and hobli level for accountability and transparency in administration.
Speaking at the valedictory function of the three-day interaction programme for legislators at Suttur near here, he said his government would also give priority for the overall development in all sectors.
Stating that the government would place a report every month before the people and even important files would be sent to opposition leaders for their remarks.
This system would be introduced to receive a feed back from both public time and again, he added.
He said even after 61 years of Independence, leaders had not corrected themselves and if this attitude continues, people would revolt against the system as they did during the British Rule.
When all the legislators are discussing various issues in the camp why not the same be discussed in the Assembly, he questioned.
He appealed to all party leaders and legislators to sink their political differences and join hands with the government to bring about development.
