27, including school children, feared drowned in UP

Pratapgarh, Sep 25: As many as 27 people, including school children, were feared drowned after a boat carrying them capsized mid-stream in river Sai in Antu area of this Uttar Pradesh district today.

According to official sources, the boat was ferrying more passengers than its capacity.

The ill-fated boat overturned near Peelupur ghat.

Till now, no body has been fished out.

Fishermen and divers were making efforts to trace out the bodies.
