Zardari not a weak leader, says Bashir

New York, September 24, 2008 : Ahead of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's meeting with the Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir has refuted suggestions that Zardari is a weak leader and not in control of affairs back home.

Yesterday, authoritative sources in the Government of India had pointed out that Pakistan has multiple power centers, but Bashir rejected this assertion.
