Action against perpetrators of violence on churches
Bengaluru, September 24, 2008 : A central team visited Karnataka on Tuesday, which has witnessed a wave of attacks on Christian churches recently. Earlier in the day the team led by federal internal special secretary M. L. Kumawat visited Mangalore and Uduppi and held discussions with district officials.
Kumawat said district officials were asked to take stern measures to stop such attacks. Kumawat added that strict action was needed to restore people's faith.
