Man held for instigating Pujari family suicide pact
Pune, Sep 24 (UNI) Police today arrested Deepak Kashyap, who was allegedly responsible for the suicide pact of four members of a Pujari family in Pimpri Camp area near here on Sunday.
According to a suicide note found at the residence of labour contractor Vijay Pujari, the family, including his wife, daughter and son had taken the step after being duped financially by Deepak, who had borrowed Rs 15 lakh from them and failed to repay the amount.
Deepak, who was arrested after returning from Hyderabad today, admitted that he had failed to repay the amount and that two cheques he had issued to Pujari had bounced, Pimpri Police Inspector Sharad Surve said.
