Japan grants 8,277 dollar assistance to MP NGO
Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) The government of Japan has granted an assistance to the tune of 8,277 US dollar (Rs 36,86,000) to Jeevodaya society, a Madhya Pradesh-based non-government organisation for its project titled ''The project for construction of rehabilitation home for platform children''.
The grant contract in this regard was signed between Mr Hirotsugu Hagiuda, consul general of Japan and sister Clara Animoottil, secretary, Jeevodaya society, here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Hagiuda said Japan government is always giving help to the NGOs, who are doing a good job for society.
He also spoke on the good bilateral relations between India and Japan.
