Hotel Marriott to open from Dec 31

Islamabad, Sept 24 : The Marriott Hotel, which was reduced to ashes in Saturday's massive suicide attack detonated by around 600 kg RDX, will be opened from December 31.

Around 1500 workers have been pressed into service to meet the task, the Daily Times quoted the owner of the Marriott Hotel Sadaruddin Hashwani as saying.

The catering service will begin the next 15 days as facilities like kitchen, health club, swimming pool and restaurants were still intact, Hashwani added.

He further said that he would not require any kind of help from government and complete the renovation work within the next three months.
