Road mishap kills 4 in Bihar

Dehri-on-Sone, Sep 24: Altogether four people were killed on the spot and ten injured when a tractor overturned on Dehri-Jadunathpur road in Rohtas district in the wee hours on Wednesday, Sep 24.

Police said the ill fated tractor was overloaded with potato and passengers. It overturned near Kusdihara Qabristan killing four passengers while ten others sustained injuries. The injured were rushed to the local hospital.

Poor condition of road and driver's negligience were the reasons for the mishap. The locals blocked the road for several hours. An FIR had been lodged in the local police station. Senior police officers rushed to the spot to pacify the irate mob.
