Archmat expo on Sep 26

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 24 (UNI) The sixth biannual three-day exhibition on art and architectural products 'Archmat' will be held here from September 26.

The main object of the exhibition, jointly organised by the local centre of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) and Arch Trust Tiruchirapalli, was to create awareness among the public on the architectural products, IIA (local chapter) M Ramanathan told newspersons here yesterday.

In connection with the exhibition, a seminar and discussion on eco-friendly sustainable architecture would be organised for the benefit of architects and students. Experts from different parts of the country and Sri Lanka, would address the gathering on "Architecture, a search towards environmental conciousness " and share their experience, he added.
