Amitabh Bachchan to make his International debut
Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) Hindi cinema's Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will make his International debut in a French project, to be directed by Luc Jacquet, maker of the 2006 Oscar-winning documentary ''March of the Penguin''.
The shooting of the English film, to be shot in India and France, would commence from next year-end, Amitabh said in his blog.
''The details of the project are being worked out'', he said.
Amitabh met Jacquet in Paris yesterday to give his nod for the project.
''There is another project in the offing from the writer of 'Taxi Driver' and 'Raging Bull' from Hollywood and I shall need to see the script before I consider any further,'' the acclaimed actor said. The 65-year-old star made his Bollywood debut way back in 1969, as one of the protagonists in ''Saat Hindustani'', directed by late Kwaja Ahmed Abbas.
