Adobe launches new version of Creative Suite

{image-Adobe Systems Inc_24092008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, Sep 24: Adobe Systems Inc on Wednesday, Sep 24 launched the new version of Creative Suite, the software package that brings in the majority of the company's revenue.

Creative Suite 4 targets professional designers and developers and includes 13 of Adobe's applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and the Web design software Dreamweaver. The product will be available in the market by next month. The US-basd software company called the product's release the most significant launch in its history. CS4 includes a tighter integration of legacy Adobe and Macromedia products.

Adobe bought rival Macromedia Inc, the creator of Flash software, in 2005. CS4 is faster and makes it easier to repurpose design content across all media including print, Web, mobile, animation and video.

The company is focussing on markets like India and China, Russia and Eastern Europe for expansion opportunities. Creative professionals in those regions are driving demand, and Adobe plans a 'huge push' in countries like Turkey, Romania and Poland.
