A corporator arrests in youth murder

Kolhapur, Sept 24 (UNI) A city corporator Ravi Ingawale was today arrested in connection with a stabbing ncident.

Rivalry between two Tarun Mandals-- Vetalmal and Phirangai, both in Shivaji Peth, erupted on night of September 15 during Ganesh idol immersion procession, near the city's Binkhmbi temple, in which one youth died and another was seriously injured in the attack, police said.

Sanjay Jagtap, father of deceased Sairaj, registered complaint with police that corporator Ravi Vishnupant Ingawale among four people were allegedly involved in his son's murder, police said.

Ravi and his cousin Uday surrendered today before the police.
