14 bombs found near Taljhari rail track in J'khand

Ranchi, Sep 24 (UNI) A major train mishap was averted at Taljhari railway station on Bhagalpur-Barharwa loop section in Jharkhand's Sahebganj district following recovery of 14 live bombs from the tracks.

Railway sources said UP Guwahati-Dadar and DN Malda-Bhiwani Farraka express trains were supposed to pass through the station.

Superintendent of Police P R Das said the bombs, packed in plastic bags, were locally manufactured.

He claimed that it could also be an act of miscreants to create panic among people.

The nature of bombs was being investrigated.
