Taare Zameen Par' named for Oscars
Mumbai, Sep 23, 2008: Aamir Khan, Bollywood actor and debut director of 'Taare Zameen Par' on Monday said that he was hopeful of worldwide appreciation as the film about a boy struggling to come to terms with a learning disorder and his relationship with his teacher has been nominated as India's entry to next year's Oscar awards.
Although Khan, while addressing media in Mumbai, said that making good films is beyond wining or losing awards.
