Two critical as wasps strikes Jammu school
Jammu, Sep 23 (UNI) The condition of two students was reported to be critical after hundreds of wasps struck a government school in tehsil Akhnoor on city outskirts, some 28-km from here, police sources today said.
''About 25 students were bitten when wasps struck a government Primary School yesterday at village Tagarwal,'' they said.
Locals, however, rushed to the school premises and took the students and the teachers to safety.
The students and the teachers were immediately admitted in sub-district hospital while two students, Anju Devi and Ruby, were referred to the Government Medical College Hospital, in view of their critical condition, they said.
