Train services to Puri resume
Bhubaneswar, Sep 23 (UNI) Train services to Puri resumed this evening after being suspended for two days as flood water had submerged a railway bridge near Delang under Khurda road division.
The East Coast Railways (ECoR) had to reschedule the movement of the trains, which were either short-terminated or cancelled.
The trains cancelled included the 2837 Howrah-Puri Express, 8409 Howrah-Puri Sri Jagannath Express, leaving Howrah and 8451 Hatia-Puri Tapaswini Express leaving Hatia.
After the reschedule, the 2875 Puri-New Delhi Neelachal Express scheduled to leave Puri at 1055 hrs would now leave Puri at 2345 hrs. The 2838 Puri-Howrah Express scheduled to leave Puri at 2005 hrs was rescheduled to leave from Bhubaneswar at 2030 hrs.
Similarly, the 2801 Puri-New Delhi Express scheduled to leave Puri at 2145 hrs would leave Bhubaneswar at 0100 hrs tomorrow.
The 208B Khallikote-Bhubaneswar passenger terminated at Khurda Road would run as 219 Bhubaneswar-Balugaon passenger from Khurda Road to Balugaon, the ECoR sources said.
