Precious metals shine on bullish global advice

Mumbai, Sep 23: Both the precious metals surged on Tuesday, Sep 23 with silver rising by Rs 520 per kg and gold by Rs 265 per ten gm, from their previous close, following brisk buying support from jewellery makers in view of encouraging global advices, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

Following were the opening domestic spot rates: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade: Rs 20,810 Gold (per 10 gm): 99.5 purity standard mint: Rs 13,060 99.9 purity pure gold: Rs 13,115.
