Posh says Becks made her want to marry

London, September 23 : Posh Spice Victoria Beckham has revealed that she never thought of marriage - until she met soccer ace David.

The former singer met David 11 years ago when he was an upcoming footballer, while she ruled the popularity charts with 'Spice Girls'.

The designer confessed that she was never a starry-eyed girl waiting for her prince charming but it was David who made her change her mind.

"Before I met him I'd never thought about getting married," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"I wasn't one of those girls who dreamed about a fairytale wedding and meeting a prince."

"That was until I met David," she added.

Posh insisted that things took their own toll after marriage.

She said: "Before we got married we never spoke about how many kids we were going to have or where we wanted to live because we were so young."

"But what it so great is that we wanted the same things and it just fell in to place."

The couple tied the knot in Ireland in 1999 and now have three sons; Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, six, and the three-year-old Cruz.
