Mettur water level 89.230 ft

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 23 (UNI) The water level in the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across River Cauvery stood at 89.230 feet this morning.

The inflow into the reservoir was 6,203 cusecs and the discharge 20,008 cusecs, PWD sources said.

From the Grand Anaicut, 801 cusecs of water was released through River Cauvery, 3,569 cusecs through Vennar, 3,248 cusecs through Grand Anaicut Canal and 1,525 cusecs through Coleroon for irrigation.
