Lafarge India to double output in five years

Patna, Sep 23 (UNI) Lafarge India has launched an ''ambitious programme'' to increase the company's production capacity over two-fold in the next five years.

Informing this, a company statement today said the firm's total cement output capacity currently stood at about 5.5 million tonnes in the country.

The statement was issued here during the launch of the company's new television commercial featuring Indian cricket team's captain M S Dhoni as the brand ambassador.
