Jawan commits suicide in Rajouri

Jammu, Sep 23 (UNI) An Army jawan allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, sources said here today.

''Jawan identified as Raj Kumar of 54 Field Artillery Regiment was found unconscious in his residential quarter in tehsil Nowshera of Rajouri district,'' sources told UNI, adding he was immediately rushed to hospital, where doctors declared him as brought dead.

The jawna, however, was found hanging in his room, which was locked from inside.
