Huge cache of explosives recovered in Sheikhpura

Sheikhpura, Sep 23 (UNI) Police recovered a huge cache of explosives at Koar village in the district of Bihar today.

Police said, acting on a tip-off, jawans of Special Auxiliary Police(SAP) and the sleuths of Bihar police raided a number of hideouts under Town police station area and recovered the explosives. The seized explosives included gelatin sticks, ammonium nitrate, detonators and pins, they said.

Police suspect the seized explosives were to be used to trigger blasts in the area.

Raids were being carried out to nab the criminals, they added.
