HMK attacks DMDK office in TN

Coimbatore, Sep 23 (UNI) Six activists of Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) led by District youth-wing secretary Anbu Mari, attacked Desiya Murpoku Dravida Kazhagam(DMDK) transport workers union office here today.

Police said following a statement from the HMK Office, condemning the DMDK for the alleged attack on the Tamil film actor Vadivelu's residence and office at Chennai, the DMDK members allegedly threatened the HMK activists yesterday.

The HMK members, in retaliation, came in a car and attacked the DMDK office by damaging its table, chairs and sign-board this afternoon. Later, they surrendered before Singanallur Police station and were remanded in judicial custody, police added.
