Gensler and Space Matrix launch 'Studio i'

Bangalore, Sep 23 (UNI) San Francisco based, leading global design and architecture firm Gensler and Singapore based Space Matrix, one of Asia's fastest growing architecture and interior design firms, today opened their joint venture firm 'Studio i' an architectural and interior design KPO here today.

'Studio i' would be an extension of Gensler's Worldwide Design Studio, aiming to provide a competitive edge for design and documentation on high end, large scale projects handled by Gensler's worldwide offices.

Addressing a press conference here Gensler Executive Director David Gensler said that 'we see India as a tremendously important talent pool and market opportunity for us. The Indian professional working globally has made significant contributions in many professions.' Space Matrix CEO Anurag Srivastava said that 'after Y2K and the ERP boom, India has seen a rapid growth in Professional Services Based KPO's. I was involved in the early days of Mechanical Engineering Services Outsourcing (ESO) in 1995 or so which today India dominates on a worldwide basis. Legal and Accounting based KPO's have seen similar global recognition over the past few years.
