Bangalore, Sep 23 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office here at 0830 hrs today.

Southwest monsoon was weak over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at a few places over North Interior Karnataka; at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and mainly dry over South Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): B.Bagewadi 5; Koppal, Talikote 4 each; Sambre, Navalgund, Gadag, Chittapur, Manvi, Lingasugur, Maski 2 each; Kuknoor, Biligi, Nagathan, Bhalki, Gulbarga, Sedam, Narayanpur 1 each.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over all the districts of South Interior Karnataka.
