Arunachal to host extra-curricular activities
Itanagar, Sep 23(UNI) The Research department of the state government will host a series of extra-curricular activities for the school children throughout the state this fiscal year.
The programme is aimed to encourage creativity among students and make them better leaders.
It will be organized in collaboration with Victoria Memorial, informed Research Director Tage Tada.
As per schedule, a district level landscape painting competition will be orgnised in September and state level in November.
An education tour and creative workshop will be organised at Victoria memorial, Kolkata in January 2009.
District research office will conduct competition in respective districts except Papum Pare where the Directorate of research will take up the programme in the state capital, he added.
