Arms and ammunition recovered in Doda

Jammu, Sep 23 (UNI) Security forces today recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition after they exchanged firing with the armed militants in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here said.

''One AK magazine, one wireless set, seven detonators, 10 grenades, seven hand grenades and 14 rounds were recovered from the site of the encounter,'' the sources told UNI.

''The patrol party early this morning came across with the militants near Rai Nallah following a fierce gun battle,'' the sources said, adding the militants, however, managed to escape.
