No agreement yet on Nepal Constituent Assembly regulations
Kathmandu, Sept 23 : The all-party parliamentary committee failed to finalise the Constituent Assembly Draft Regulations today as well.
The committee led by Nepal Workers and Peasants Party chairman Narayan Man Bijukchhe has been holding discussion on the regulations since three months, but has not been able to sort out differences.
The adoption of regulations will pave the way for drafting of the new Constitution of the country.
The parties differ on representation in the sub-committees where small parties are demanding their inclusion in all sub-committees. The parties have agreed on formation of nine sub-committees.
Failing to find consensus during the meeting, the committee has put off discussion till Wednesday, Nepalnews reported.
