4 awarded death sentence for murder
Barabanki, Sep 23 (UNI) A local court has pronounced death penalty on four people while handing down life imprisonment to 11 others in a murder case.
According to prosecution, one Chedu was murdered on June 22, 2003, at Mau Gaurpur village in Ramasnehi ghat area of the district.
Police had later recovered his body and registered a case against 15 persons, including Sagar, Harinam, Ashok and Nakku.
Hearing the case yesterday, Additonal District and Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court) Anoop Kumar Goyal awarded death sentence to the quartet and sentenced to life 11 others.
