3 killed, 50 injured in accident
Narsinghpur, MP, Sep 23 (UNI) Three women were killed on the spot today and 50 passengers injured, 11 of them critically, in a minibus-lorry head-on collision near Nadred village, about 60 km from this district headquarters, police said.
The minibus was en route to Gadarwara from Barahbada.
The deceased were identified as Halki Bai (30), Kamla Bai and Kesharbai (both 40).
The severely injured were admitted to a District Hospital.
A mob blocked the road in protest.
The administration announced ex gratia of Rs 5,000 to the kin of the deceased and Rs 2,000 to each of the injured.
