268 UNICEF model handpumps for schools

Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, Sep 23 (UNI) The government has approved more than Rs 1 crore to install 268 handpumps of UNICEF model in as many schools in nine blocks of the district to provide potable water to the students, official sources said today.

A total of 58 handpumps would be set up in Dharamjaigarh block, 45 in Sarangarh, 41 in Baramkela, 22 in Tamnar, 40 in Lailunga, six in Gharghora, 28 in Kharasia, 20 in Raigarh and eight in Pusour.
