15 students fell ill after mid-day meal

Udupi, Sept 23 (UNI) In all 15 students of BEM aided school in Car street here fell ill after taking mid-day meal today.

Police said that a lizard was found in the food supplied to the students. The children developed giddiness and vomiting sensation immediately after taking the meal.

All the students were treated as outpatients and discharged.

Panicked parents alleged that it was negligence on the part of the school authorities.
