Students, driver hurt as bus rams into tree

Malappuram, Kerala, Sep 22 (UNI) At least 20 children were hurt and the driver seriously injured when the school bus in which they were travelling crashed into a tree at Kondotty Mundappalam in the district this morning.

Police said the accident occurred when the driver of the E M E A Higher Secondary School bus lost control and rammed into the tree.

The driver was admitted to Kozhikode Medical College and the others to a nearby private hospital, police added.
