Infotech starts facility in Noida
Noida, Sept 22 (UNI) Hyderabad-based Infotech Enterprises Ltd, a global technology solutions firm, today inaugurated its new facility here, which has been set up with an investment of Rs 20 crore.
''The facility, spread over 45,000 sq ft will seat 600 people initially,'' company CMD BVR Mohan Reddy told reporters here.
The capacity will later be increased to 1,000 persons, he added.
The company already has facilities in Noida, Kakinada in Maharashtra, Hyderabad (two centres) and Bangalore.
Infotech will service half a dozen clients from this centre, with Tele Atlas being the major client, he said.
The company had acquired the Indian arm of Dutch-based Tele Atlas in 2005.
It is also bullish on the GIS and the engineering services space.
''There is a 20 billion dollar market for hardware, defence and aviation. We plan to capture this market as three of the five major players in this field have partnerships with us,'' he said.
