IMImobile wins gold at Mobile Search Awards 2008
Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) IMImobile has won the gold award for the 'Best Entertainment or Information Service' at the Mobile Search Awards 2008, becoming the first Indian company to win the award.
UnISpace, IMImobile's UGC platform that enables mobile subscribers to social network 'on the go', was voted a clear winner by industry experts, IMImobile Chairman, Founder and CEO Vishwanath Alluri said in a statement here today.
''IMImobile is delighted to win gold at the Mobile Search Awards...We are committed to developing and managing innovative services that will be real cash generators for our customers,'' the release said.
''This latest award is further evidence that we are firmly on the right track as we continue to expand around the world,'' the release added.
UnIspace taped into the huge appetite for social networking and user generate content to create an environment in which content was created and exchanged in the mobile space, it said.
