British Airways suspends flights to Pakistan

Lahore, Sep 22: British Airways (BA) has suspended flights to Pakistan after Saturday Sep 20's Marriott Hotel suicide bombing in Islamabad in which at least 60 people, including four foreigners, were killed and more than 200 injured.

Airlines authorities saud that the air services would remain suspended until September 29. However, Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Director General said that he had no information regarding the suspension of British air services. It is believed that the terrorists had targeted the only five star hotel in Pakistani Capital especially because it is frequented by foreigners.
