Hindi students hail minister for promoting Hindi
Aizawl, Sep 21(UNI) The Mizoram Hindi Zirlai Pawl (MHZP) or Hindi students' association today lauded School Education Minister R Lalthangliana for his efforts in promoting Hindi in Mizoram elementary schools.
The minister said that he had kept on pressuring the Centre to promote Hindi subject in the elementary schools in the state.
Mizoram had been allocated 1538 centrally-sponsored Hindi teachers in primary schools, he said, adding that no other state had Hindi teachers in all its primary schools.
The Minister also persuaded the Union Government to repeal its order to abolish CSS Hindi teachers in the NE states.
