GCCI sends relief material to Bihar
Ahmedabad, Sep 22 (UNI) Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) has despatched 2,000 kits, containing essential household articles for the flood-affected people of Bihar today.
GCCI President Rupesh C Shah said the kits, containing items such as blankets, buckets, sarees, towels, utensils, slippers and mosquito nets, have been sent by a special train to Bihar.
He said if need arises, the Chamber will arrange to send more relief material to the people affected by the floods.
''For this purpose, we had constituted Gujarat Chamber foundation and we have received good cooperation from affiliated associations and members to raise the relief materials'', Shah added.
